Something that catalyzed your growth - besides working hard?
Finding my way into communities I aspired to. I don’t look like the environment I came from, and this was a deliberate effort on my path. I looked for people, models, mentors and communities who are where I want to be or have answers to my burning questions and to learn from them up close or afar, paid or free.
Something you're most proud of?
Transitioning out of clinical medicine and building a nonclinical career I love, and going the extra mile to launching The Nonclinical Career Accelerator, a program that empowers doctors to transition into nonclinical roles. It was a leap into the unknown, but seeing doctors find clarity, confidence, and career fulfillment outside traditional medicine has been incredibly rewarding.

Don’t wait to feel ready. Just take one step after another, do the next thing no matter how imperfect and trust that clarity comes in motion, not in waiting.
Worth Remembering
Always shoot your shot to get a foot in the door of the organization you love or that place you want to be, because you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. Not 10 or 20% but 100%.
