SUCCESS LEAVES CLUES

We asked Grace for Clues

Something that catalyzed your growth - besides working hard?

One thing that has catalyzed my growth by light years has been the people in my life. I have solid relationships with people who inspire, cover, teach, and remind me even when I forget the big picture. At every defining turn in my life, a significant person has been coaching, mentoring, and supporting me.

Something you're most proud of?

I am most proud of transforming the most painful experience of my life and grief from losing a sibling into a purposeful tool, a book. My book, Beautiful Scars, aims to helps millions of people to walk through the journey of personal loss.

On Resilience

The great thing about resilience I recently discovered is how much of a skill it is. This means that it can be developed. I am more resilient today than I was a year ago and you can be too. In addition to other essential life skills, being able to push through and thrive in spite of the contradictions around you is a winning skill. That is resilience!

Worth Remembering

Dear Teacher, you are the multifaceted beauty, wisdom, and expression of God. Teaching (or your current job) is one of the many ways you let your light shine. Do not let anyone put you in a box. Shatter that box and build an empire.
